Kerui project management is meticulous, focusing on every detail. They ensured efficient collaboration from design to onsite commissioning. The stability demonstrated by the equipment during acceptance far exceeded our expectations, and its precision significantly surpasses industry standards,” stated the head of the client’s acceptance team, giving high praise to Kerui’s products and services upon signing the acceptance documents.
Recently, multiple sets of Kerui desert fastmoving AC VFD drilling rigs and 750HP desert truckmounted drilling rigs were successfully delivered and shipped to oil and gas field operation sites in Africa. The successful shipment of this project further enhances Kerui market share and brand reputation in Africa, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
The client for this project is a renowned drilling company in Africa with extensive business scope and significant influence in the African energy sector. Based on longstanding recognition of Kerui capabilities in highend equipment manufacturing, customized solutions, and R&D strength, the client chose to partner once again.
In oil and gas extraction, clients continuously demand higher standards for equipment operational efficiency, automation level, safety, manual labor intensity, environmental protection, and more. Kerui’s drilling and workover rig series, depending on advanced technology and exceptional intelligent features, fully meets the requirements of the high-end oil and gas equipment market for efficiency, operational safety, and environmentally friendly operations.
This batch of desert fastmoving AC VFD drilling rigs represents a “sharp tool” specifically developed by Kerui’s R&D team to meet client requirements and address the complex local operating conditions. The equipment features integration, automation, and environmental friendliness. Regarding integration, the entire machine utilizes modular moving designs, enabling faster and more efficient onsite relocation and assembly/disassembly. For automation, the lifting hydraulic station employs a dual dieselelectric drive design, supporting switching between manual and automatic control modes. This significantly enhances operational efficiency while increasing construction safety.
"Tight schedule and fast pace" were the keywords for this project's delivery. From raw material inspection to rig commissioning and acceptance at the wellsite, the project was characterized by “high manufacturing standards and strict process control.” To coordinate effectively with the client's acceptance team, the delivery team held daily project meetings, breaking down tasks meticulously. Team members worked overtime to expedite progress and meet the deadline. Ultimately, through the team’s concerted efforts, the equipment passed acceptance smoothly, demonstrating Kerui formidable delivery capabilities.
The delivered 750hp desert truckmounted drilling rig project is one of Kerui mature, selfdeveloped products. This unit underwent customized upgrades specifically for the client’s extreme operating conditions, becoming a “reliable partner” in the client’s mind. The main vehicle chassis uses a 10×10 all-wheel-drive, offroad chassis specifically designed for oilfields, offering superior offroad capability. The derrick employs a selfcollapsing wireline doublesection telescopic design, reducing the required footprint by over onethird compared to models with the same load capacity. The dual dieselelectric drive integrated hydraulic station can serve as a backup for the main vehicle’s hydraulic system. The rig’s derrick cantilever control system enables mouseholefree operation for handling and moving the swivel, significantly improving operational efficiency. The rig meets the requirements for drilling depths of 3000m and operating in high-temperature conditions up to 55°C.
