Recently, the firsttruck-mounted pipeline gas recovery compressor unit in China, jointly developedby Kerui and the Pipechina West-East Gas Transmission Company, andindependently manufactured by Kerui, successfully completed China’s first gasrecovery operation for a large-diameter natural gas long-distance pipeline.

This operationinvolved a large-diameter 1219mm natural gas long-distance pipeline and lasted39 hours, cumulatively recovering 1.564 million standard cubic meters ofnatural gas, reducing emissions by 23,400 tons of CO2 equivalent. The projectutilized two units working in parallel to maximize the recovery rate, markingthe first instance in China of such a setup. The equipment withstood severeweather, alternating working conditions, torsional vibration, and pulsationtests on-site.

The equipmentfeatures a modular and flexible configuration, multi-stage switching processpipelines, and a rational layout of compressor units and auxiliary equipment,ensuring a high degree of integration. On-site, high-pressure hoses and modularfittings were quickly connected, enabling operation within 2 hours. Thespecialized vehicle structure occupies minimal space, is easy to transport, andis suitable for rapid operations at different stations.

Operating at 1800 RPM with a maximum power exceeding 600KW, the equipment has a compact size and high power density. Coupled with multi-stage compression switching, it ensures the maximum recovery speed and rate, with a single unit capable of achieving 90% pipeline gas recovery.
